Crimson Roots
are a five-piece blues psychedelic and progressive rock band from Nuremberg, Germany. The line-up consists of Ina Salaj on vocals, Kristi Dhimitri on guitar, Kolja Becker on bass, David Vinogradov on drums and Idris Voegeli on keyboards.
The band writes for a full live line-up. Guitar and organ share the lead, while bass and drums keep the music direct even when the arrangements become longer or more progressive. Their songs move between blues rock, heavier progressive sections, psychedelic passages and quieter moments without being tied to one narrow style.
The debut album Open Roads was first released digitally in 2025. The LP and CD edition followed on 22 May 2026 through Tonzonen Records. Written, recorded and produced by the band, the eleven-track album became the basis of their 2026 live programme.
The band and their debut Open Roads received coverage from Classic Rock, Eclipsed, GoodTimes, SLAM, RockTimes, curt München and other German and international rock media. The album was also featured through radio interviews and airplay.
Crimson Roots have performed at venues, clubs, festivals and open-air events across Germany and France. Their live schedule has included support shows, headline dates and appearances at OnCampus Festival Ingolstadt, the Conservatoire de Rennes, Fürth Festival, Mahagoni Festival and a major stage at Bardentreffen Nuremberg.
The band is represented by OnStage Group tourservice and is currently writing its second album.
