Open Roads is the debut concept album by Crimson Roots. The eleven-track record combines blues-based rock with progressive arrangements, psychedelic sections and a strong focus on the interaction between the five musicians.
The album follows a traveller through change, uncertainty, resistance and renewal. Each song represents a different point in that journey, while still working as an individual track.
Open Roads was written, recorded and produced by the band. It was first released digitally in 2025, followed by the LP and CD edition through Tonzonen Records on 22 May 2026.
